Brief History

1873	Mr Baker patented a belt-driven air injection system for open-hearth furnaces which he called the "Baker Blower" and thus Baker Blower Engineering was born on Stanley Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
1978	Baker Blower Engineering gained Rolls Royce Approval
1994	An eight year investment plan resulted in new plant & machinery, new quality systems, ISO:9001 accreditation, and expansion into new markets.
2011	Baker Blower Engineering was acquired by a private investment group and a new senior management team was appointed.
2013	Baker Blower celebrated 140 years of engineering excellence by opening its second factory which is now located at Unit 10, Carr Mills Business Centre, Bradford Road, Birstall, West Yorkshire, WF17 9JY.
